About this opportunity

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for an integration platform to facilitate the integration of CBP's existing Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) systems, such as vehicle x-ray scanners, with CBP's IT enterprise architecture and applications. The objective is to find a mature and readily deployable commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) integration platform that can integrate data from multiple vendor-agnostic x-ray systems, handle high data volumes, and interface with CBP's enforcement applications. Key requirements include the ability to provide a common user interface, integrate with third-party anomaly detection algorithms, and enable remote monitoring and maintenance of NII systems. Responses to the RFI are due by June 21, 2024, but the government does not commit to any future solicitation.

This RFI is not set-aside for any particular business type, and the government will not pay any costs associated with responding to the RFI. The government has not provided any details about potential award values, budget ranges, or incumbent contractors. The NAICS code associated with this opportunity is 541511 - Custom Computer Programming Services, and the PSC code is DA01 - IT And Telecom - Business Application/Application Development Support Services (Labor).
