About this opportunity
The Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS), part of the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 7, is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying musical instruments and accessories to support religious, spiritual, and ceremonial activities in VA chapels, with responses due by August 18, 2026 at 0900 EST. This is a sources-sought inquiry only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to purchase.
CAVHCS seeks six specific instruments: two Yamaha Clavinova CLP-835 Console Digital Pianos (matte black with benches), one Hammond XK-7D Manual Organ, one Yamaha Element RSE20 Electric Guitar (black), one 6-piece drum shell pack, and one Sabian AAX 4-piece cymbal pack. One piano must be delivered to the Montgomery facility (Building 3A-100, 215 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL 36109); all other instruments to the Tuskegee facility (Building 93, 2400 Hospital Road, Tuskegee, AL 36083). All deliveries must occur Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST, with on-site installation and setup required at both locations.
Vendors must provide rough order of magnitude pricing for each item individually, total package price, and separately itemized delivery and installation costs. Prospective vendors must confirm authorized dealer status for Yamaha, Hammond, and Sabian; on-site service capability in Alabama; delivery timeline from purchase order receipt; warranty details; and installation services including functional testing and safety documentation. Vendors must register in SAM.gov, comply with Buy American Act and Trade Agreements Act requirements, and provide DUNS number or UEI, CAGE code, and socio-economic certifications if applicable.
