About this opportunity
The Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a contractor to provide trash removal and disposal services for the Carrizo Springs Border Patrol Station. The solicitation requires the successful bidder to furnish three 4-cubic yard dumpsters and provide all necessary labor, materials, transportation, training, and supervision for trash and debris removal. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price type with a base year from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, and four optional one-year renewal periods. The procurement will be evaluated using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology, with technical acceptability determined by conformance to the Statement of Work. Key submission dates include March 19, 2025 at 4:00 PM EST for questions and March 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM EST for quote submissions, both to be sent to Tomika.Brown@cbp.dhs.gov.
The contract is designated as a total small business set-aside, meaning only small businesses are eligible to compete for the award. Trash pickup will occur three times per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) at the Carrizo Springs, Texas location. While specific award values are not explicitly stated, the total contract period spans five years from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2030. Potential offerors must submit their best pricing using the attached Pricing Spreadsheet in Excel format and include two pages of pictures and specifications in PDF format. Contractors will be responsible for maintaining sanitary conditions, following all applicable regulations, and coordinating with CBP's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for scheduling and reporting. Failure to provide any requested documentation will result in immediate disqualification from the bidding process.
