About this opportunity
This solicitation seeks proposals for invasive carp removal services at Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge in North Carolina. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service requires contractors to remove a minimum of 450,000 pounds of common carp over three years using approved fishing methods. Proposals are due June 20, 2023 and will be evaluated based on price and technical acceptability of the offeror's past performance, staffing, and small business subcontracting plan. Questions regarding this solicitation are due by June 12, 2023.
The requirement has no set-aside designation and will be procured on a full and open basis under NAICS code 114111 for fishing. Offerors must remove 450,000 pounds of carp by December 2025 with options to remove additional 50,000 pound increments through that date. The period of performance is from July 20, 2023 through December 31, 2025 at Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge. Up to 11 optional CLINs are available to remove additional carp beyond the minimum requirement.
