About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command has issued a Special Notice in the form of a Request for Information (RFI) for the procurement of food grade carbon dioxide (CO2) gas for various Army swimming pools located on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. The RFI is a market research effort to determine industry interest and contractor capabilities for providing and delivering CO2 gas to U.S. Army bases in Hawaii.

The purpose of this RFI is to assist the government in developing future procurement strategies for this requirement. The RFI seeks information on the types of gases provided, the ability to deliver to U.S. Army bases in Hawaii weekly, and the availability of local office or representatives. Contractors are instructed to provide company information, product/service descriptions, and small business status in their responses, which are due by June 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time. The government reserves the right to reject any responses and will not provide feedback or payment to contractors for their submissions. The information gathered may be used to develop acquisition requirements such as the performance work statement, statement of work, and related documentation.
