THIS IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.

Food Services Contractors:  General Service Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Services (PBS), 2PSAM located at Daniel Patrick Moynihan U.S. Courthouse, 500 Pearl Street, New York, NY and Thurgood Marshall U.S. Courthouse, 40 Centre Street, New York, NY is seeking a contractor for the on-site food services operation. 


The food services are to be operated for the benefit of approximately 850 employees who will be occupants in the United States Courthouse located at Daniel Patrick Moynihan, 500 Pearl Street, NY, NY.  The population will vary depending on the activity of the Courts estimated from 1500 to 2000 visitors daily.


When Thurgood Marshall U.S Courthouse, 40 Centre Street, New York, NY reopens it will be added to this contract.  The population of this Courthouse is approximately 450 employees.

Key operation includes serving full breakfast, morning coffee break, lunch and afternoon coffee break.  The following are services provided: grill, hot entrée, deli, salad bar, full breakfast and lunch.  Services also include, but not limited to management, administration, and other items necessary to perform all purchasing, inventory control, ware housing, food preparation/serving cashier duties, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.  Government receives payment - in lieu of rent 1 ½ %.  The Government contemplates a five (5) year base contract with two option periods of five (5) years each.

All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to any award resulting from this announcement.
