About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 15, is preparing to procure cable television services for the Kansas City VA Medical Center, with a sources-sought response deadline of September 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST.

The requirement covers installation, maintenance, and repair of cable television service supporting 260 televisions throughout the medical center and auxiliary locations. The service provider must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision to deliver continuous basic cable service. Equipment must be provider-owned up to and including connection to the VA-owned digital-to-analog converter in Building 4. No premium channels or pay-per-view programming are permitted; all equipment must be modern, in good working condition, and capable of maintaining stable broadcast quality. Any exterior antennas or satellite dishes require approval from Facilities Management Service.

Interested parties must submit responses via email to James.Horne@va.gov with company information including UEI number, size status representations (SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, WOSB, or Large Business), NAICS code classification, and manufacturer or distributor status. Responses must address subcontracting limitations, existing federal contracts (FSS, VA NAC, NASA SEWP, or equivalent), and capabilities demonstrating clear, compelling, and convincing evidence of performance. This is a request for information and planning purposes only; responses do not constitute offers and cannot form binding contracts. A formal solicitation may be issued subsequently, requiring separate responses.
