Tennessee Valley is located in Marin County and receives approximate 195,000 annual visitors per year and is within the National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The existing gravel surfaced Tennessee Valley parking lot and trail head can accommodate approximately 75 cars. The parking area is the main access point to Tennessee Valley Beach and serves a larger trail system that includes the California Coastal Trail, the Miwok Trail, and the Marincello.
