The US Geological Survey Office of Acquisitions and Grants is soliciting firm-fixed-price quotations for an 18-foot aluminum jetboat, 4-stroke Mercury 80hp jet engine, and trailer with towing accessories, with quotations due August 11 at 1:00 PM EST. Place of performance and delivery is USGS California Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, 1 Harpst Street, Arcata, California 95521, within 45 days of award. The jetboat must be aluminum with minimum 60-inch bottom width, T-top, glass fold-down windshield, center-console driving station with bench seating for two, at least two passenger seats, in-floor and under-seat storage, and 0.160-inch minimum aluminum thickness for the bottom and transom. The motor must include a minimum 2.1-liter displacement, 35 amp/441 watt water-cooled voltage regulator, and be fully installed with cables, fuel lines, exhaust, and mufflers. The trailer must include loading guides, standard electrical hookup for pickup towing, running and brake lights, winch, and rear step with submersible lights. The vessel will support fish and habitat sampling in California freshwater systems for fisheries research and aquatic science activities.
Quotations must be submitted as a single PDF file to Contracting Officer Brian Baker (brian_baker@ios.doi.gov). Questions are due August 6 at 1:00 PM EST. Vendors must include business size classification, SAM UEI, country of manufacture, and signed SF-18 form. Award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable. NAICS code 336612, Boat Building; PSC code 2010, Ship and Boat Propulsion Components.
