About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Sustainment Center, through the 76th CMXG Maintenance Group, is preparing to procure AMT brand-name equipment maintenance under a pre-solicitation notice with responses due October 30, 2026. The Set Aside line specifies no set-aside is used, and the authorizing official determined under 12.102(a) that a specific brand name is required.

The requirement is an AMT HyperCare maintenance agreement for one SF100 unit (S/N 4149003000751) with a Base Year and two Option Years. Coverage includes help desk access to AMT's expert support team, unlimited service visits and unlimited parts replacement for machine-error failures (operator errors excluded), and coverage for included ancillary systems. The contractor must perform one on-site preventative maintenance inspection and optimization visit per contract year, including annual carbon filter replacement, and deliver the PM schedule to the Government Point of Contact within ten business days after award. Visits require at least seven business days' notice. All parts and OEM components must conform to manufacturer specifications. The brand name justification states the SF100 is a single point of failure for the Selective Laser Sintering production pipeline and requires AMT-certified technicians. A one-time PM reinstatement is also referenced in the SOW.

Market research identified four authorized vendors certified to service the SF100 in the United States. Three submitted rough orders of magnitude, and after the PM reinstatement kit was added, two provided updated budgetary estimates. The third remains a viable competitive source. The responding vendors maintain active SAM.gov registrations.
