The project will be located at VASFHCS Campus, 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, California 94121.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

Depictions of ACM in the aforementioned report shall be verified through testing to confirm accuracy.

Areas of work include the Kitchen Dish Washing Area, Kitchen Sanitary Area, and Laundry Room Area:

Kitchen Dish Washing Area Equipment relocation and heavy carpentry work. Asbestos Abatement in this area required. Work likely can be completed as a single phase however temporary equipment to continue operations will be required.

Kitchen Secondary Area Address asbestos abatement and restoration of finishes where conditions warrant. Light carpentry may be required, especially where gypsum wall board contains ACM and where logical extension of walls is desirable to occupants. A new carousel consistent with existing is to be called for replacement in design. New washer and dryer equipment is to be called out for replacement to be provided by the VA with utilities to match.

The A/E is required to meet all applicable laws and regulation not explicitly stated in this document.
