About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Fort Worth is conducting market research to determine domestic availability of a Single Zone Mini Ductless Split System with specific technical requirements. The units must maintain room temperatures between 68 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit, operate continuously, and include a standalone thermostat and alarm system. Technical specifications mandate Energy Star ratings, 410A refrigerant, 208/230V power, inverter technology, and specific warranty conditions including 2-year parts and 5-year compressor coverage. The market research focuses on identifying domestically manufactured systems where U.S. manufacturing processes and component costs exceed 60 percent of total component costs. Interested manufacturers are requested to submit technical data sheets via email to shenika.m.lewis@usace.army.mil by February 20, 2025, with the subject line "Sources Sought Notice - Mini Ductless Split System".
