Notice text
The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to conduct an Industry Day Event in order to provide industry briefing time to discuss individual company’s technologies, approach, and ability to address the Federal Bureau of Prisons Uniform needs. The BOP places a high regard to new and advanced textile technologies (e.g., moisture-wicking, UV blocking/filtering, odor resistance, color-fastness, textile strength, fabric longevity, flame retarding, anti-microbial or materials made of recycled content), which provide the quality, durability, breathability, true-fit, and flexibility to meet the needs of the intended environment. This opportunity is open to all companies that have innovative ideas and cost-conscious solutions that can assist in supporting the future effectiveness of the Bureau of Prisons uniform program.
