The Defense Logistics Agency, Aerospace Energy Business Unit intends to solicit on an Unrestricted, Full and Open Competition basis for the delivery of all product, materials, supplies, management, tools, equipment, transportation and labor necessary for FOB Destination delivery into Government-owned tanks of 700 Tons of Liquid Nitrogen, Type II, Grade B (99.99%), IAW MIL-PRF-27401G, dated August 7, 2013 (NSN 9135-01-665-3253) in support of two locations at Vandenberg AFB, CA including ancillary services such as Detention, Hot Fill and Expedited Delivery. The Government intends to award up to two (one for each location) Firm Fixed Price Requirements contracts using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisition procedures. Period of Performance is Date of Award through 30 September 2024. Award will be made to the offeror determined to be the Best Value to the Government, price and other factors considered, using the Best Value Source Selection Process. Specifically, the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process will be utilized in accordance with FAR 15.101-2.
The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 January and will be posted to the FedBizOpps web page (http://fbo.gov/). If you do not have Internet Access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed copies received directly from the requester will be acceptable. Mail requests to: DLA Energy -FEM, Attn: Barbara M. Peterson, 1014 Billy Mitchell Blvd., Building 1621, San Antonio, Texas 78226-1859. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
