This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is being conducted by the VHA Network Contracting Office 22 to identify sources that have knowledge and training in instructing Breathing Stretching Relaxation (BSR) Yoga and are capable of providing program management for the BSR Program at Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles (VAGLA)
BSR Yoga uses simple physical postures and breathing exercises to help participants feel a connection and balance between body and mind. BSR was developed at VAGLA and is specific to the Veterans Affairs population. BSR was introduced in 2011 and VAGLA currently offers over 30 BSR Yoga classes each week to Veterans in multiple services areas, including delivery to remote locations using Clinical Video Telehealth (CVT) and staff classes.
Specific Tasks the vendor would complete:
-The vendor shall provide 520 hours of BSR instruction (ten 1-hour classes per week for a total of 52 weeks). The classes include multi-site video telehealth classes, classes for Veterans in the mental health population, and women-only classes.
-Program management to include mentoring and training staff in BSR practices, documentation and tracking of classes, producing training materials and staff policies and procedures, toolkit development and rollout, outreach, including calendar and SharePoint development, CVT development and rollout to all CBOCs (Community Based Outpatient Clinics).
The anticipated period of performance is one year (from date of contract award).
