About this opportunity
The Department of the Army National Guard is seeking to procure a Breathing Air High Pressure Compressor System through a combined synopsis/solicitation under solicitation number W912L6-24-R-2263. The procurement includes a BAUER UNICUS 4i-25 system, an electronic CO monitor with calibration kit, and an ASME 6000 psi cylinder specifically designed for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear response capabilities. The government intends to award a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Firm Fixed Price contract without discussions, focusing on technical acceptability based on specific equipment requirements such as five-stage air-cooled compressor functionality, purification systems, and safety features. Potential offerors must have a current and active System for Award Management (SAM) registration without exclusions. Key dates include January 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. CST for submitting questions and January 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. CST for proposal submissions, both to be sent via email to MacKenzie Boyd and Harvetta Taylor.
This procurement is designated as a Small Business Set-Aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333912 for Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The contract will be awarded for one complete system, with delivery and acceptance terms set as FOB Destination to the USPFO Warehouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The justification for this specific procurement indicates that Bauer systems are the industry standard for interagency partners, including fire departments, federal agencies, and Civil Support Teams. The solicitation is subject to the availability of funds and will utilize Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 procedures for acquiring commercial items. While no specific award value is explicitly stated, the procurement is for a single comprehensive compressor system designed to meet critical emergency response equipment standards.
