Modification M001 - verbiage to encourage a site visit if necessary to see the breaker since serial number is not available. Site visits close on 6/4/21.

5/19/21 Modification M002  - Q&As

  1. Do you need a new neutral CT?  Do not need neutral CTs.
  2. Do you want communications? Do not need communications.
  3. Does it need to have a ground fault? Does not need to have a ground fault.
  4. Are you wanting the trip unit replaced only and CT’s or do you want a whole new kit installed, new wiring etc? They have options. Whole new kit installed and new wiring.

5/21/21 Modification M003 - Q&As

1.  Would NETA Testing at the refurbishing facility do? or do you still require an on site NETA Testing.

2.  As the project consists of two stages, on site NETA Testing is required after each stage correct?

3.  For the limitrips do you require AC- Pro I or AC-Pro II?

Answers:  Respond to the questions and question number 3 is in relation to number 2.

  1. Please provide a break down for both options.
  2. NETA Testing at the refurbishing facility will do and shall provide the test reports and settings in accordance with NETA Standards.

5/28/21 Modification 004 - Q&As

1. Pearl or OEM standards do not specify the percentage of breaker refurbishment or reconditioning. Refurbish is not a defined standard within PEARL or OEM. It's our understanding that you want these breakers to be reconditioned to a "like new" material condition. Do you want all these breakers fully disassembled and materials repainted and re-plated to the stricter OEM standards?

Need to follow the Pearl & OEM standards

2. All the circuit breakers from our understanding are in operating condition and have recently passed an inspection. The repairs to each breaker are going to be different, do you want all the part replaced or only those that require it, some breaker may require more parts replaced or coils rewound then others, given that the current condition of the breakers is unknown, is it our risk to what additional parts are to be replaced or is this to be identified to the government during the refurbishment process and issued as a change order?

Only replace those that are required.

3 - There may even be a possibility of a circuit breaker not passing the Pearl/OEM specs and may need full replacement. If this is the case, how is this to be addressed?
