About this opportunity
The United States Special Operations Command (US SOCOM) has issued a Special Notice to procure 29 one-year warranties for existing Spectrum Guard Pro systems. The warranties must be brand name specific to Charon Technologies LLC/CACI, and the government will only accept quotes from authorized resellers or distributors.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to post the Determination and Findings (D&F) that justifies the brand name only requirement for the Spectrum Guard Pro warranties. MARSOC has determined that these specific warranties are required to protect the assets from damage and liabilities, and that they can only be sourced from the named manufacturer under FAR 16.505(a)(4). As a result, MARSOC will award and execute a contract for the 29 Spectrum Guard Pro one-year warranties. There are no set-aside requirements, and the procurement will be competed through the GSA.
