About this opportunity

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base intends to solicit a sole-source contract with Global Defense Solutions LP (CAGE 6T7K0) for design, installation, and integration of a Brake Temperature Monitoring System kit for HC/AC/MC-J aircraft, with responses due by August 27, 2026.

The Air Force will award a six-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with a six-month extension option, anticipated to begin in FY27 and conclude in FY32. The acquisition supports Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery fixed-wing capability requirements.

Award authority relies on 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source). The Government determined that Global Defense Solutions LP possesses proprietary software, data, and component design capabilities uniquely suited to meet requirements; award to any other source would create unacceptable risk and substantial unrecoverable cost duplication. The Justification and Approval will be made publicly available within 14 days of contract award and will remain posted on SAM.gov per FAR 6.305.

This is a notice of proposed contract action, not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for Government consideration. The notice classifies work under NAICS 541715 (Research and Development in Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences) and PSC 5999 (Miscellaneous Electrical and Electronic Components).
