About this opportunity
The Department of State seeks to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement for residential furniture supply to the U.S. Embassy Wellington, New Zealand, with quotations due August 4, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. NZT. The procurement is open competition with no set-aside.
Place of performance is Wellington, New Zealand. The BPA will run for five years and cover up to 26 furniture categories including coffee tables, floor lamps, lounge chairs, sofas, dining furniture, bedroom items, outdoor furniture, and related accessories. Quoters may bid on all categories or only those they can furnish. No single purchase will exceed NZD $45,000; total cumulative orders under the agreement will not exceed USD $350,000 or equivalent in NZD.
Furniture must be new and unused, meeting specifications in Attachment 1, with pricing inclusive of delivery, assembly, placement, packaging removal, minimum 12-month warranty from Government acceptance, and replacement of defective items. Quoters must demonstrate legal authority to conduct business in New Zealand, reliable physical inspection access in the Greater Wellington region, and adequate delivery, assembly, warranty, and replacement capabilities. Submission includes SF-1449, pricing via Attachment 2, commercial catalogs, discount methodology, business registration information, equipment inspection location details, and references. Monthly invoicing goes to wellington.invoices@state.gov.
The Government intends to establish BPAs by furniture category and is not required to award to every quoter. Evaluation assesses technical acceptability on a pass/fail basis, fair and reasonable pricing, responsibility, and past performance. Subsequent calls under awarded BPAs will be competed among capable holders based on best value considering price, specification compliance, product suitability, delivery, warranty, and past performance. The Contracting Officer is John Langer. NAICS 337121, PSC 7105.
