About this opportunity

The Bureau of Land Management Colorado Region seeks lawn care and snow removal services at its Little Snake Field Office in Craig, Colorado, with quotes due May 22, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time. This procurement was originally designated as a Women-Owned Small Business set-aside but Amendment 0001 (effective May 18, 2026) removed the set-aside restriction, opening competition to all vendors.

Place of performance is 455 Emerson Street, Craig, Colorado 81625. The contract period runs October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2031 (base year plus four one-year option years). The incumbent contract value was $107,553.85, and the NAICS code is 561730, Landscaping Services, with a size standard of $9.5 million. This is a firm fixed-price RFQ under FAR Part 12 (Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures), incorporating Service Contract Act wage requirements for Moffat County, Colorado.

Lawn services (April 1 through November 1 annually) include weekly mowing of approximately 9,598 square feet at minimum four inches, weekly trimming of 16,098 square feet in landscaped areas, monthly sprinkler head trimming and edging, three annual weed-and-feed applications using Colorado-certified applicators, spring cleanup with aeration, and annual tree trimming. Snow and ice removal (November 1 through March 31) covers designated sidewalks, requiring clearance within one hour of snowfall cessation or when accumulation exceeds one inch, completed before 7:00 a.m., using only washed sand with no salt permitted.

Responsive quotes must include a fully completed, priced, and signed SF-1449; a Schedule of Prices in Excel format; and a technical proposal detailing capabilities, resources, past performance with contactable references, subcontracting plan if applicable, and quality control plan. Evaluation uses price as the most important factor, followed by technical approach and past performance. Questions and acknowledgment of amendments are due by the May 22 deadline. Quotes are submitted via email to Courtni Strickland at cstrickland@ios.doi.gov.
