About this opportunity
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport, under the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command, is seeking sources for a lighting and electrical modernization project. The procurement involves installation of new lighting and controls in a high bay facility area, including conduit and high bay LED light fixtures controlled in three zones, installation of nine 120-volt receptacles, and demolition of the existing electrical room and associated equipment. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work. A critical qualification requirement is CMMC 2.0 Level 2 certification, which must be approved before contract award and will be verified in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) after submission. Interested parties must complete and submit the "Questionnaire for Industry" document by May 4, 2026, to john.p.gathu.mil@us.navy.mil. This is a sources sought notice (RFISS-173) and does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal; submission is voluntary with no financial obligation to the Government.
This procurement has no set-aside designation. No incumbent contractor or current contractor information has been identified in the available documentation. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice. The questionnaire requests vendors to provide estimated costs for the project and their anticipated timeline for setup and service commencement following contract award. Responders must also indicate their small business status and their intention to submit a formal proposal should a solicitation be issued. All responses must comply with Operations Security (OPSEC) requirements, and contractors are explicitly prohibited from including classified, controlled unclassified, or arms export controlled information in their submissions.
