The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center has issued a Special Notice for a renovation project at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. The notice concerns the renovation of Rooms E417 and E420 in Building 300, specifically within the Weapons Superiority Division. The current office layout does not provide sufficient individual workspaces for employees, leading to suboptimal working conditions. The renovation project targets the redesign and reconfiguration of these spaces to accommodate more personnel while maintaining workflow efficiency. Key requirements involve designing and installing new cubicles/offices with modular walls, power connections, and carpeting, while removing existing office furniture and flooring. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for April 8, 2025, at 1400, and interested contractors must coordinate access with Matthew Loomis via email. Performance objectives emphasize arranging cubicles to accommodate the highest number of individuals without compromising workflow, providing adequate workspace and power access, and adhering to building codes, safety regulations, and ergonomic guidelines.
