Interested vendors must complete and submit the Market Research Questionnaire by April 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time via email to j3ridgeway@bop.gov. Key contractor requirements include providing empty, reusable, OSHA-compliant storage and transport containers, biohazard spill kits, and documentation such as Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests and Certificates of Destruction within 45 days of pickup, as well as maintaining Workers' Compensation, Employer's Liability ($100,000 minimum), Commercial General Liability ($500,000 minimum), and Automobile Liability ($500,000 minimum) insurance. All contractor personnel must pass National Crime Information Center background checks prior to facility entry. This procurement carries no set-aside designation and involves an indefinite delivery requirements contract with firm-fixed-pricing consisting of one base year and four optional one-year renewal periods for a total potential performance period of five years beginning March 2026 through September 2026. No incumbent contractor or current vendor information has been identified in the available documentation. While specific award values or budget ranges are not explicitly stated in the notice, the small business size standard for this NAICS code is $47 million, which may provide some indication of the anticipated contract magnitude. The monthly pickup schedule and requirement for documentation delivery within 45 days of service indicate regular, recurring performance obligations throughout the contract period. Prospective vendors should monitor SAM.gov for the availability of the questionnaire and any additional updates or clarifications issued by the government before the April 1, 2026, submission deadline.
