The Government requires full-service capability with no partial support responses accepted, and interested firms must submit a Capabilities Statement addressing company information, business classification, SAM registration and CAGE code, GSA Schedule number if applicable, and evidence of capability to provide all required services. The deadline for submitting Capabilities Statements to nika.salemi.2@us.af.mil with subject line "Sources Sought - Biohazard Waste Removal Services, Homestead, FL" was April 7, 2026, and a formal solicitation is anticipated to be released within one to two months on SAM.gov.

This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only and no contract will be awarded from this posting; therefore, no reimbursement will be provided for response costs. No set-aside designation has been applied to this requirement, though the Government is conducting this market research to determine potential for small business set-asides or restricted competition based on identified contractor size classifications. There is no current incumbent contractor for this service. The Government estimates monthly medical biohazard waste generation at approximately 50 pounds and anticipates the contract will consist of a base year plus four option years, though the exact period of performance and estimated annual contract value have not been finalized at this pre-solicitation stage. Service requirements include monthly pickups scheduled between 0730 and 1600 hours, excluding federal holidays, with emergency pickups available as needed, and the contractor must submit monthly invoices on a firm fixed-price per pick-up basis within five days after service completion.
