About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Joint Base San Antonio has issued a Special Notice (FA8307-26-R-B005) announcing the consolidation of four existing Basic Ordering Agreement orders for Big Bang's Maintenance under the Cosmic Dawn Team 1 initiative. Posted on April 14, 2026, this notice represents the AFLCMC/HNCK Platform One Contracting Office's intent to solicit offers for ongoing technical sustainment of Big Bang packages. The work falls under the Custom Computer Programming Services category (NAICS 541511) and Information Technology and Telecom Business Application/Application Development Support Services (PSC DA01). This consolidation effort is being conducted in accordance with FAR 7.107-3 and follows government-established market research demonstrating the necessity and value of combining the four previous BOA orders (FA830723FB051, FA830723FB052, FA830723FB053, and FA830723FB096) into a single contract.

The primary objective of this consolidation is to secure a single vendor capable of providing comprehensive technical sustainment, including synchronization with upstream releases, vulnerability remediation, documentation maintenance, and security compliance for Big Bang packages and future iterations. The government will select the vendor offering the most technically capable solution through a Commercial Solutions Opening on the Platform One Solutions Marketplace, conducted in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 3418 and DFARS 212.70. The proposal deadline is May 13, 2026, and interested contractors must be capable of operating within an agile, collaborative environment while maintaining compliance with Big Bang umbrella standards and coordinating with other BB and Platform One teams. The resulting contract will include an eight-month base period followed by four one-year option periods, providing extended stability and strategic continuity. There is no set-aside restriction for this opportunity, making it available to all qualified contractors meeting the technical and operational requirements.
