About this opportunity
Air Combat Command is conducting market research to identify sources capable of repairing an inoperable ACCO-Wright Bay Hoist (S/N 36630) at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, with responses due by July 27, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST. This is a Request for Information under NAICS 333923, not a solicitation, and carries a total small-business set-aside.
The hoist, located in Building 2202 Bay 1, supports Conventional Maintenance operations for assembly, inspection, and loading of non-nuclear weapons including Guided Bomb Units for four fighter squadrons in the 4th Fighter Wing. The equipment currently fails to rise when bearing weight within rated capacity due to a malfunctioning relay controlling upward movement and degraded collector shoes.
Repair work must include troubleshooting, component replacement, and compliance with ASME B30.7, B30.10, and B30.16 standards. The contractor shall provide field-verification of dimensions, coordinate delivery and installation with the government point of contact, perform unloading and site cleanup, and deliver complete user orientation on operation and safety. Upon completion, the contractor must submit as-built drawings and provide all manufacturer's literature, operating instructions, and warranty documentation. Work-site access is available Monday through Friday, 0800–1500 hours.
Respondents must confirm company registration in SAM, provide CAGE code, state business status (8(a), Small, HUBZone, Woman-owned, or equivalent), and submit a capabilities statement to both listed points of contact. Standard manufacturer warranty for all equipment and components plus twelve-month labor/workmanship warranty from final government acceptance is required.
