About this file

This is a Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the repair of an inoperable overhead hoist at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (SJAFB) in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The hoist, a serial number 36630 manufactured by ACCO-Wright, is located in Building 2202 Bay 1 and is used by Conventional Maintenance to support assembly, inspection, and loading of non-nuclear weapons including Guided Bomb Units for four fighter squadrons in the 4th Fighter Wing. The hoist currently fails to rise when bearing weight within its rated capacity due to a malfunctioning relay controlling upward movement and degraded collector shoes.

The contractor shall provide all necessary materials and labor to troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty components, with the repaired hoist required to comply with ASME B30.7, B30.10, and B30.16 standards. Key contractor responsibilities include field-verification of dimensions, coordination of delivery and installation with the government point of contact, receiving and inspection of components, unloading and material movement, uncrating and site cleanup, and providing complete user orientation on operation and safety procedures. The contractor must submit an as-built drawing and provide all manufacturer's literature, operating instructions, and warranty documentation upon completion. Work site access is available Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1500 hours. A standard manufacturer's warranty for all equipment and components plus a labor/workmanship warranty valid for a minimum of twelve months from final government acceptance is required. This SOW supports a Sources Sought Notice (Solicitation Number F3T3CE6190AW01) under NAICS 333923 with responses due no later than July 27th at 12:00 PM EST.
