About this opportunity
The United States Air Force's 633rd Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB, Virginia seeks to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a non-competitive, single-source basis to CurtissWright/Tactical Communications Group for the Battlefield Operation Support Systems (BOSS) Annual Support and Upgrades Gold Plan, with proposals due July 20, 2026. This is a sole-source procurement; the source states that all BOSS software, firmware, diagnostic tools, and engineering data are proprietary to CurtissWright/TCG, and competing this requirement would not produce viable offers.
Place of performance is Langley AFB, Virginia (Joint Base Langley-Eustis). The procurement covers annual support for nine existing BOSS platforms currently utilized by Air Combat Command. BOSS is a specialized test system used to perform Link 16 datalink testing. The Gold Plan subscription includes software updates and reengineering releases, troubleshooting assistance, extended hardware and software warranty coverage, and unlimited help desk support. One on-site CONUS visit (up to three days) per year is included. Contractor personnel must obtain U.S. SECRET clearances and installation access passes. Work is conducted Monday through Friday, 0800–1700 Eastern Standard Time, excluding federal holidays.
Period of performance runs from September 18, 2026 through September 17, 2031 (one 12-month base year and four 12-month option years). The NAICS code is 541519, Other Computer Related Services. Interested parties who believe they possess technical capability to meet this requirement may submit formal capability statements to Lester Yearwood (lester.yearwood.1@us.af.mil) or Margaret Young (margaret.young.6@us.af.mil) by July 20, 2026, at 4:30 PM Eastern Time.
