About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command has published a Special Notice regarding the procurement of BAK-12 Arresting System Spare Parts. The 97th Contracting Squadron intends to make a sole source award to Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Service, LLC for these parts, as they are the only known source capable of providing the required items.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to allow for potential competition by soliciting capability statements from interested sources. Contractors must submit their capability statements, including technical data and cost information, by September 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM CST. The Government will use the received information to determine whether to proceed with the sole source procurement or conduct a competitive procurement. This is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. The Government has the sole discretion to make the determination based on the responses received.
