About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy has published a Special Notice announcing the Joint Tactical Network Center (JTNC) Resiliency Sub-Working Group (RSWG) Intelligence Threat Brief and Military Communication Systems Resiliency Assessment Rodeo. This is an informational event scheduled for March 10-12, 2026, at the Defense Intelligence Agency Missile and Space Intelligence Center in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The announcement is not a solicitation for products or services, but rather an invitation to attend a three-day professional conference. The event is open to Department of Defense civilians, uniformed personnel, federal contractors, federally funded research centers, university-aligned research centers, and cleared industry representatives. Registration opened on January 9, 2026, and attendees must submit appropriate security clearance documentation.

The primary objective of this event is to provide participants with authoritative threat assessment information from Intelligence Community experts regarding adversary-imposed threats to military communications and data link technologies. Day 1 (March 10) will feature Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information-level threat briefings covering detection, interception, location, targeting, jamming, positioning, navigation, timing interference, cyber, and directed energy weapon mitigation. Days 2-3 will include Secret-level briefings and panel discussions on threat-informed software-defined radio capabilities, waveform design, government resiliency frameworks, and assessment tools, with optional breakout sessions on artificial intelligence, modeling and simulation, space/satellite communications, and signals analysis. The critical deadline for submission of Security Visitor Access Requests through the Defense Information System for Security is February 27, 2026. Eligible participants must possess the appropriate security clearance (Top Secret/SCI for Day 1; Secret for Days 2-3) and register through the Joint Communications Marketplace, with a potential attendance fee of up to $100 per person.
