About this opportunity
The United States Air Force Sustainment Center is conducting market research through this Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential contractors capable of supporting B-2 Performance Based Logistics (PBL) for Constrained End Item Repair structured as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). The procurement involves repair services for 22 specific aerospace components including turbines, actuators, pumps, valves, compressors, and other critical B-2 aircraft parts across multiple federal supply codes. Contractors must possess expertise in aircraft engine and engine parts manufacturing under NAICS code 336412 with a size standard of 1,500 employees, along with capabilities in quality management systems, classified material handling, subcontract management, and supply chain operations. The government seeks written responses addressing a comprehensive Contractor Capability Survey covering business information, technical capabilities, small business opportunities, and industry challenges. All responses must be submitted via email to the designated point of contact by 4:00 PM Central Time on November 13, 2025, with no telephone or facsimile submissions accepted.
This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all business types including small businesses, women-owned businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, and other designated categories. The RFI does not identify any current incumbents or contractors, nor does it provide specific award values or budget ranges, as this is strictly a market research initiative with no available funding for contractor responses. The government has explicitly stated that no contract will be awarded based on this RFI and that responding is voluntary with no reimbursement provided to contractors. The timeline focuses on the November 13, 2025 response deadline, with the government indicating potential future RFIs may be issued as part of ongoing market research efforts. This early industry engagement is intended to support the formulation of an acquisition strategy for what the Air Force describes as a properly scaled enterprise solution to provide superior and cost-effective B-2 sustainment support.
