About this opportunity

The United States Marine Corps is issuing a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract to Axon Enterprise, Inc., with responses due by 2:00 PM EDT on June 10, 2026. The procurement is restricted to Axon under FAR 12.102(a) on the grounds of restrictive rights and exclusive licensing; the Government will not conduct competitive procurement unless responses warrant reconsideration at its sole discretion.

The Marine Corps Installations East (Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina) requires purchase of Axon Body Camera software licenses to support existing AB3 and AB4 body camera infrastructure: 23 Pro user licenses, 147 Basic user licenses, 200 à la carte storage licenses, and 112 Device Connectivity and FUSUS livestreaming licenses. The licenses are necessary to maintain compatibility with evidence.com, the proprietary evidence management platform where archived video has been stored since 2023 for evidentiary purposes and chain-of-custody documentation. Loss of access to the proprietary platform would result in loss of end-to-end chain of custody and potentially archived videos. Market research confirms no other companies offer compatible licenses.

Interested firms may submit information demonstrating their ability to satisfy the requirement. Responses must be received at the contracting office no later than June 10, 2026. Point of contact: Emily Tsan, (910) 451-9199, emily.n.tsan.civ@usmc.mil, or 316 Holcomb Boulevard, Room 2109, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547.
