About this opportunity

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) awarded a sole-source, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Caley Ocean Systems Limited on April 9, 2026 (Contract No. N00024-26-D-4402) for the repair, maintenance, overhaul, and upgrade of Caley Boat Davit systems installed on the U.S. Navy's San Antonio-class Amphibious Transport Dock (LPD-17) vessels. The contract scope encompasses 36-month and 72-month boat davit overhauls, upgrades to MK II configuration, field services for both planned and unplanned maintenance, material supply, warehouse management of rotable inventory, and associated testing and quality assurance activities. The contract is structured as a one-year base ordering period with up to four one-year option periods, with a cumulative potential value of $24,683,872.82 if all options are exercised. Caley Ocean Systems was selected as the sole source provider because it is the original equipment manufacturer and sole proprietor of the proprietary technical data and design documentation required for these mission-critical davit systems, which are essential for anti-terrorism and force protection operations aboard Navy vessels.
