About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Distribution seeks quotation for auto bagging equipment to be delivered to DLA Distribution at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with proposals due July 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM EST and questions due July 10, 2026. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 333993 (Packaging Machinery Manufacturing), 600-employee size standard. One firm-fixed-price purchase order will be awarded to the lowest evaluated price quoter determined technically acceptable.

The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation under FAR Parts 12 and 13 for commercial items. Quoters must provide four line items: a check weigh/counting scale (USC-2400 model or equivalent) with 750-pound capacity and 0.001-pound accuracy; an in-line poly-bagger capable of processing 1.0 to 4.0 mil bags ranging from 2.5" W x 5.5" L to 14" W x 32" L at over 100 bags per minute; an inline thermal printer with 300 DPI resolution and 12 inches per second print speed; and an infeed bucket loader compatible with existing equipment. All equipment must be delivered within 30 days of order receipt on FOB Destination basis, with unit prices including freight costs and delivery requested by August 15, 2026.

Equipment must accommodate materials with a minimum 4-inch by 4-inch pass-through with no maximum. Products are filled by count rather than weight and include hardware items such as resistors and O-rings currently processed through manual counting. Desired maximum height is under 10 feet with preference for compact footprint; no hard maximum exists for length and width.

Quoters must submit three separate volumes: Technical/Business Capability, Past Performance, and Pricing & Administrative documentation, including completed FAR 52.212-3 certifications and representations. Responses must be submitted electronically to Christa.becker@dla.mil. Technical capability and past performance are evaluated on an acceptable/unacceptable basis, with price determining award among technically acceptable quoters. All equipment must comply with pallet specifications per MD00100452 Revision C and be packaged per ASTM D3951. Amendment 0001 was posted July 13, 2026, answering vendor questions regarding product dimensions, filling methodology, production speed, and installation space constraints.
