Request for Information (RFI)

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS), which manages and operates portions of the Savannah River Site (SRS) under a Department of Energy (DOE) prime contract, is searching for an auctioneer to sell and remove surplus property to a contracted auctioneer that provides semi-trailers for SRNS to load surplus onto and the purchaser relocates it to their warehouse facility and performs the public auctions.

The for sale items will include all types of maintenance repair operations products and tools, prefabricated items, project startup items, raw materials, manufactured parts, supplies and consumables. No hazardous materials or chemicals will be offered for sale

The auctioneer performs all lotting, advertising, storage, sale, and provides SRNS with a check and/or electronic funds transfer along with very detailed reports of each lot and who purchased the lot. Each lot shall be photographed and tracked.
Prerequisites:
1. The auctioneer needs to have a secure, bonded warehouse.
2. Every lot sells, nothing is left-over. There is nothing to track or return after the sale is completed.
3. The auctioneer needs to have enough trailers to move the surplus and adequate warehouse space to stage the surplus material
4. On-line auction capability.

The SRS is located approximately 15 miles south of Aiken, South Carolina and is 310 contiguous square miles.
