About this opportunity
The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron (1 SOCONS) under the Department of the Air Force Special Operations Command is procuring maintenance and support services for ATLIVE, classified under computer-related services (NAICS 541519). This sole-source procurement will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, with the authority to restrict competition documented under FAR 12.102(a), which permits sole-source awards for acquisitions at or below the simplified acquisition threshold when only one source is available. The contracting office will accept expressions of interest and product information from interested parties until 10:00 AM CST on May 4, 2026, via email to edren_jash.pena.1@us.af.mil and erica.eberle.1@us.af.mil. The Government reserves the right to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received, though no formal solicitation or request for quotation will be issued. Evaluation will focus on determining whether competition is warranted and whether the proposed sole-source award to the identified contractor is justified.
This procurement involves no set-aside designations and is intended as a sole-source award to UFA, INC., located in Woburn, Massachusetts. The contract will consist of a twelve-month base period followed by four optional one-year renewal periods, totaling up to five years of performance if all options are exercised. While the specific contract value is not disclosed in the notice, the use of Simplified Acquisition Procedures indicates the anticipated award is at or below the current simplified acquisition threshold. This maintenance and support contract represents a continuation of services for an existing system, with the potential incumbent UFA, INC., positioned as the sole-source contractor based on the Government's determination that only this vendor can fulfill the requirements.
