About this opportunity

The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), on behalf of the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), is conducting a Call for Solutions for Autonomous Swarm Dynamics & Counter-Drone (C-UAS) Technologies, with Phase 1 solution briefs due 21 August 2026 at 1630 EDT (extended from 19 August).

ATEC seeks an integrated suite comprising swarm-replication software and command-and-control capability for 50+ unit autonomous drone swarms, passive multi-sensor fusion algorithms to track low-signature swarms in GPS-denied and RF-contested environments, high-density time-space-position information instrumentation for target drones, and realistic threat-behavior profiles that adapt to defensive actions. Solutions must be ruggedized for austere, remote open-air range environments with limited infrastructure. Vendors may propose focused subsets addressing individual technical attributes rather than the full integrated suite; specialized respondents must define how their technology interfaces with broader swarm replication and range control networks.

Eligibility requires a Unique Entity ID, System for Award Management registration, and Wide Area Workflow registration. Solution briefs must not exceed six pages or fifteen slides (excluding title page and intellectual property statements) and include executive summary, high-level technology concept, company viability statement, and IP disclosures. Evaluation criteria are Technical Merit (primary), Schedule, and Viability. The Q&A period closed on 12 August; a Q&A summary is available. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards, a single award, or no award, and may cancel the solicitation at any time. Submissions go to ACC contracting POCs Whitney Jackson and Dennis Beauclair, Jr., with subject line "Call for Solution - [Your Company Name] - ATEC_RIW26_001." Highest-performing respondents will advance to ATEC Reverse Industry Week in September 2026 at Aberdeen Proving Ground, with virtual participation available.
