About this opportunity

The Air Education and Training Command (AETC) within the Department of the Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources for an AT Coach Simulator system to support the 334th Training Squadron's Air Traffic Control (ATC) course at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. The procurement seeks a comprehensive ATC radar simulator solution featuring Windows OS-based ATCoachGE and ATVoice software licenses, complete hardware provisioning, installation services, and technical support. Key requirements include providing shipping, configuration, installation, and troubleshooting services; up to 80 hours of virtual software training; one year of warranty coverage; and creation of a Canyon Approach (KCYN) database configuration. This is a sources sought announcement only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or guarantee of future contracting action. Responses must be submitted by 2:00 PM CDT on Thursday, April 2, 2026, to the three designated Air Force contacts: Ian Smith (Contract Specialist), Kristy Hill, and Kimberley L. Alvarez (Contracting Officer).

No set-aside designations apply to this procurement. The statement of work specifies substantial equipment provisioning requirements across multiple laboratory configurations, including six Emcor labs, three non-Emcor labs, and two dorm labs, with one existing lab requiring updates. Each Emcor lab requires nine small form factor workstations, one Windows Server, 19 monitors (ranging from 15" to 32"), specialized ATC equipment including STARS QWERTY keyboards with trackballs, noise-canceling PTT headsets with interface units, USB footswitches, and strip printers. The system must support multiple simultaneous positions: five controller positions, three pseudo pilot positions, one supervisor position, and one server, and must function as standalone software without requiring internet or WiFi connectivity. While no specific budget range or award value is disclosed in this sources sought notice, interested parties should include their company name, address, CAGE code, company size status, and U.S. or foreign ownership designation in their response.
