About this file
This is a Statement of Work for the 334th Training Squadron Air Traffic Control (ATC) course requiring an ATC radar simulator with software licenses and comprehensive service capabilities.
The contractor must provide Windows OS-based ATCoachGE and ATVoice licenses for all appropriate workstations and deliver shipping, configuration, installation, and troubleshooting services. Additional service requirements include up to 80 hours of virtual software training, one year of warranty coverage for system configuration and troubleshooting, and creation of a Canyon Approach (KCYN) database configuration. The system must support five controller positions, three pseudo pilot positions, one supervisor position, and one server.
Equipment provisioning requirements vary by lab configuration: six Emcor labs, three non-Emcor labs, two dorm labs, and updates to one current lab. Each Emcor lab requires nine small form factor workstations with Windows OS, one Windows Server, monitors ranging from 15" to 32" (totaling 19 monitors per lab), keyboards with mice, STARS QWERTY keyboards with trackballs, noise-canceling PTT headsets, headset interface units, USB footswitches, a strip printer, and associated cables. Non-Emcor and dorm configurations require similar equipment with slightly different quantities. The platform must provide radar ATC training using ATCoach software compatible with STARS, include radio-simulated voice capabilities, operate on Windows OS, support USB/HIU headsets and footswitches, accommodate user-developed training scenarios based on Specialty Training Tasks items, include administrative editing software for content development, and function as standalone software without internet or WiFi connectivity.
