Key requirements include a 600 HP diesel turbocharged engine, a single-stage midship-mounted fire pump rated at 2,250 GPM at 150 PSI, a 300-gallon polypropylene water tank, and a three-section, 101-foot articulating aerial device with a 10.5-foot jib boom and self-leveling platform basket. The chassis uses three parallel C-style rails with a lifetime warranty on frame and cross members. The specifications also call for hot-dip galvanization and Underwriters Laboratories testing and certification. Delivery terms require a pre-delivery inspection at the manufacturer's facility, factory-trained specialist instruction with a minimum of three days of training at the Grand Coulee Power Office, and printed and electronic manuals, CAD drawings, and as-built wiring diagrams.
