About this opportunity

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District, is conducting market research for a Design/Bid/Build construction project at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Georgia. The procurement involves constructing an Army Reserve Center (33,000 sq ft), a Vehicle Maintenance Shop (12,600 sq ft), and an Unheated Storage Building (1,200 sq ft), along with associated site development, utilities, and infrastructure. Small businesses are invited to respond to a market survey via Microsoft Form by April 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM Eastern Time, with the goal of determining whether the project should be set aside for small business participation. Respondents must provide documentation verifying their small business status, bonding limits, past performance, and experience with similar military facility projects. The government will evaluate submissions to assess potential small business set-aside opportunities, with no feedback provided to individual respondents about their submissions.

The contract opportunity does not currently have a specific small business set-aside designation, but all small business categories will be considered, including HUBZone, 8(a), Woman-Owned, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned businesses. The estimated contract duration is 900 calendar days, with a project cost range between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. No incumbent contractors are mentioned in the documentation, and the procurement will be conducted through either a small business set-aside or full and open competition based on market research responses. Potential offerors are advised that this is a market research request and not a formal solicitation, with no funds available for response preparation. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) for future solicitation details, with participation in this market survey not guaranteeing future bidding opportunities.
