Potential offerors must provide a written response by January 10, 2025, detailing their company capabilities, product specifications, quality certifications, and ability to meet Air Warrior requirements. Respondents must demonstrate they have or can obtain legal rights to the helmet drawings, with the understanding that the government will not reimburse any costs associated with obtaining or reverse engineering the designs. Submissions must include company information, contact details, capabilities description, and how their products meet the specified government-owned specifications.

The helmet configurations and spare parts must be 100% interchangeable with current AHA and HGU-56/P-RWH models, adhering to specific government specifications including FNS/PD96-18 and AIHS-FS-0002. While no specific contract value is mentioned, the procurement is classified under NAICS code 339113 for Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing and PSC code 8475 for Specialized Flight Clothing and Accessories. The helmets will be used for Army Aviation rotary wing pilots and flight school graduates, suggesting a potentially significant quantity of units to be procured.
