About this opportunity
This solicitation calls for proposals under Call 2 of the Architecture Refinement, Demonstration and Integration Systems program to advance database optimization and sustainment technologies supporting air and ground target modeling and exploitation. The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Research Laboratory seeks to develop prototype hardware, software, and materials demonstrating objectives up to Technology Readiness Level 5 through activities focusing on data cleansing, normalization, integration and generation techniques as well as combat identification algorithms enabling rapid incorporation of new target information. Proposals are due by May 6, 2020 and will be evaluated based on technical approach and management/cost factors, with awards anticipated by July 31, 2020.
No set-aside is designated for this opportunity. Awards of up to $6.5 million each may be granted to a maximum of three contractors, for a total estimated funding amount of $19.5 million over 60 months of technical efforts focused on air and ground target modeling codes and databases along with 3 months for final reporting. Work is to be conducted solely within the United States and will optimize and sustain existing databases through data integration and generation techniques advancing the incorporation of new target information into combat identification algorithms.
