About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command's 409th Contracting Support Brigade issued a sole source justification for Ansys Government Initiatives (AGI) Systems Tool Kit (STK) Software as a Service to support the USAREUR-AF 56th Artillery Command's multidomain operational planning and electromagnetic spectrum effects mapping capabilities. The procurement, valued at $471,421.64 over five years, was justified because Ansys STK is the only software solution that meets all eleven specified technical requirements, including real-time tracking, terrain mapping, electro-optical infrared modeling, foreign partner connectivity, and comprehensive platform simulation integration needed to build and prepare the multidomain common operating picture. Market research conducted by the government evaluated alternative solutions from Saab, MathWorks, and ESRI but determined that none could meet the comprehensive operational needs. The contract was awarded on May 20, 2025, through GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract GS35F056DA as a firm-fixed price delivery order using FY25 Operations & Maintenance funds, though the specific vendor name was not disclosed in the notice. The software will enable the 56th Artillery Command to synchronize precision effects across multiple domains and provide critical analysis capabilities within the theater of operations.

Notice text

The USAREUR 56th Artillery Command has a requirement of Ansys Government Initiatives (AGI) brand-named Ansys Systems Tool Kit Premium, Ansys Systems Tool Kit Missile Tool Kit, and class Software as a Service (SaaS) to support build and map effects in the electromagnetic spectrum, to include real time tracking, terrain mapping and Electo-Optical Infrared (EOIR) modeling to build and prepare the multidomain common operating picture and provide analysis of effects within the theater.

The Ansys STK is the only manufacturer that meets all of these requirements. No other resellers or distributors are authorized to provide products that meet the USG's requirements.

Awarded contract GS35F056DA to unknown vendor for unknown amount on 2025-05-20.
