This service will be in support of Enterprise Field activities which include field project work and meetings, and trainings. Enterprise is a national program organized under the Washington Office, Business Operations. This service will be a back-up method of communication if the employees are unable to contact their local Forest Service Dispatch Center. Currently, the Enterprise Program has about 150 field-going employees that would be frequently using this service nationwide; however, it would be available for all Enterprise employees. The estimated number of hours for this service is 15 hours per month on average. The contractor will not be asked to complete any additional services other than recording and sharing the employee’s location and timeframe with Forest Service contact If employee needs further assistance after their check-in, the Forest Service will be in charge at that point.
