Raytheon Missiles Systems, Tucson AZ, 85756, USA has been awarded a 4-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a maximum ordering amount of $125M for Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missile (AMRAAM) System Improvement Program (SIP). This contract provides for delivery of software updates to the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) inventory. It requires the flexibility to handle changing priorities and varying schedules to deliver on demand. This contract notionally includes software development enablers, such as the Candidate Selection Program (CSP); other risk reduction or special interest studies; modeling and simulation activities, to include lethality analysis and hardware-in-the-loop/lab test environments upgrades; software development and studies to counter emerging threats; and the ability to develop Foreign Military Sales software versions if required. Software development activities are expected to use a recognized Agile framework consisting of government/Prime collaboration through repeatable increments of study, development, integration, test and capability demonstration. An initial Task Order will be awarded concurrently with the basic contract, for a total cost plus fixed fee face value of $1,192,808.50 (FA8675-20-D-0002 and Task Order FA8675-20-F-1026).  This award is the result of a sole source acquisition under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
