About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure amplifier subassemblies and other replacement parts under NSN 7R-5996-015817871-E7, reference number 111K900G02. The procurement involves one unit to be delivered FOB origin, with early and incremental deliveries accepted by the government. The contracting agency intends to conduct negotiations with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources may express their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Interested parties can obtain relevant military specifications, standards, and other documentation through the DoD Single Stock Point or ASSIST-Online resources. The government considers contractual documents officially "issued" when transmitted via mail, facsimile, or electronic methods such as email, with bilateral agreement established upon acceptance of the contractor's proposal. The response deadline is set for October 1, 2025.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it available to all qualified contractors regardless of socioeconomic status. No specific incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the notice. The solicitation does not specify award values, budget ranges, or estimated contract worth, focusing instead on the technical requirements for the single amplifier subassembly unit. The timeline extends nearly ten months from the posting date in December 2024 to the October 2025 deadline, providing substantial time for interested parties to prepare responses. The procurement falls under PSC code 5996 for amplifiers, indicating the specialized nature of the electronic equipment being sought. The single quantity requirement suggests this may be for a specific repair, replacement, or specialized application rather than a bulk procurement.
