About this opportunity
This pre-solicitation notice is seeking repair or modification services for eight NSN 7H-5895-014128229 Amplifier Power Ground units. The Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit and award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may submit proposals or capability statements within 45 days of the notice publication, though an award may be issued within 30 days under an existing BOA. The government will consider all timely responses solely to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted.
This requirement has been set aside for total small business participation. Repairs are needed for units delivering to locations in Tracy, California and New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. No incumbent is identified. The government has determined that due to a lack of available technical data, acquiring or repairing these units competitively from commercial sources would not be economical or possible. Interested offerors have 15 days to identify any commercial items that could satisfy the requirement.
