About this opportunity

The Air Mobility Command (AMC) is seeking innovative solutions for aeromedical evacuation (AE) operations through its Spring Industry Preview (SIP) 2025, scheduled for June 3-4, 2025, at Travis Air Force Base in California. The event focuses on addressing critical capability gaps in four key operational areas: improved communications in austere environments, data management with aircrew integration, litter transport vehicle replacement, and litter stanchion system optimization. AMC will conduct eight live demonstrations and release ten Requests for Information (RFIs) across domains including Aeromedical Evacuation, Logistics, and Connectivity/Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT). Industry partners are invited to participate in this collaborative engagement, with registration open from April 17th to May 19th, 2025, managed by the HQ AMC Industry Engagement Office. The event aims to foster technological innovations directly supporting warfighter capabilities in aeromedical evacuation operations.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this opportunity, and no incumbent contractors are mentioned in the documentation. While no specific award values or budget ranges are disclosed, the event seeks solutions for specific technological requirements, including a litter transport vehicle capable of carrying 16 litters or 12 ambulatory patients, wearable technology for data management, and advanced navigation systems for large aircraft operating in GPS-degraded environments. The event is explicitly informational, with no current funds available for solicitation or responses. The proposed solutions will target specific capability gaps, such as secure internet connectivity in austere environments, unified mission display devices, and software applications for enhanced situational awareness in contested airspace. The timeline for potential implementation is not clearly defined, but the event suggests a forward-looking approach to developing next-generation aeromedical evacuation technologies.
